Avoid Gas Emergencies This Winter!
$99 Gas Pressure Tests
A preliminary gas pressure test allows you to see if you have an active gas leak on your home or business, saving the shock of your gas being turned off during the cold season. Atmos is always testing homes, we see them in alleys constantly with their gas sniffers, trying to protect the public, and if they find a leak on your system, it gets shut off.
In order to get your gas service restored, the following steps have to follow:
- Step One: Our office begins pulling the city permit that is required, wearrive on the job and run the gas pressure test. We locate the leak, and do the repair. If it was a one day repair, we call it in for a city inspection, which is not possible in most cases for same day. It gets setup for the next day.
- Step Two: If the repair was a one day repair, we called it in for inspection, and once the inspector approves the repair, they call Atmos to turn the gas back on. If the job was a multi-day repair, once we finish the repair we call the city for next day inspection, and upon approval they call Atmos.
