Augerpros Plumbing Job Terms and Conditions

1.Our Commitment

Augerpros Plumbing and Drain values your property and takes pride in performing professional, workmanlike service. We strive for your complete satisfaction on every job.

2.Existing Conditions

The age, condition, and original installation methods of existing plumbing systems frequently present unforeseen obstacles during repair and replacement work. Pipes may be corroded, brittle, improperly supported, or installed in ways that no longer meet current code. Walls, floors, ceilings, and finishes routinely conceal conditions that cannot be evaluated until work is underway. By authorizing this work, the customer acknowledges that Augerpros Plumbing and Drain cannot inspect or warrant the integrity of components that are not visible or accessible prior to the start of work.

3.Limitation of Liability for Property Damage

Augerpros Plumbing and Drain will not be responsible for damage to the existing structure, utilities, finishes, or personal property — including but not limited to floors, walls, ceilings, tile, carpet, cabinetry, landscaping, sprinkler systems, gas lines, or electrical lines, whether seen or unseen — that occurs as a direct or indirect result of any of the following:

The undersigned releases Augerpros Plumbing and Drain, its owners, employees, and subcontractors from any and all liability for consequential, incidental, or indirect damages arising from the conditions described above.

4.Water Heater Drainage and Appliance Movement

The customer specifically acknowledges and accepts that draining and removing an existing water heater may result in residual water release, including potential flooding of adjacent areas; that moving or relocating refrigerators, dishwashers, washers, dryers, or other appliances to access plumbing may cause floor scratching, denting, or other cosmetic damage; and that older shut-off valves, supply lines, and connections may fail when operated or replaced. The customer’s signature on this document releases Augerpros Plumbing and Drain from liability for any such damage.

5.Authorization to Perform Work

The customer represents that they are the property owner or are otherwise authorized to approve plumbing work at the service address, and authorizes Augerpros Plumbing and Drain to perform the work described on the accompanying invoice, work order, or estimate.

6.Change Orders and Additional Work

Estimates are based on the conditions visible at the time of inspection. If concealed conditions, code-required upgrades, or additional repairs are discovered during the course of work, Augerpros Plumbing and Drain will notify the customer and obtain approval before performing the additional work. Approved additions will be billed at the agreed rate.

7.Payment Terms

Payment is due in full upon completion of the work unless other arrangements have been made in writing. Returned checks are subject to a service fee. Past-due balances accrue interest at the maximum rate permitted by Texas law, and the customer agrees to pay reasonable attorneys’ fees and collection costs incurred in recovering any unpaid balance.

8.Workmanship and Manufacturer Warranty

Augerpros Plumbing and Drain warrants its labor against defects in workmanship for the period stated on the applicable invoice or estimate. Warranty terms vary based on the type of work performed and the specific service provided. Parts and equipment installed by Augerpros Plumbing and Drain are covered under the applicable manufacturer’s warranty, which is passed through to the customer. In the event a manufacturer warranty claim becomes necessary, the customer acknowledges that labor to remove, replace, or reinstall the defective item is generally not covered by the manufacturer and may be billed separately to the customer at Augerpros Plumbing and Drain’s standard rates.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, freezing, acts of God, modifications by others, or being affected by lines or systems attached to work, or pre-existing conditions, and is void if any work performed by Augerpros Plumbing and Drain is altered or repaired by another party. If there are questions about work that Augerpros Plumbing and Drain has done, Augerpros Plumbing and Drain requires that Augerpros Plumbing and Drain be the first to examine the issue and offer remedy based on findings. If customer has another party do anything to the work that Augerpros Plumbing and Drain has done, any warranties are void.

This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

9.Permits and Code Compliance

Where permits are required by the governing jurisdiction, the customer authorizes Augerpros Plumbing and Drain to obtain them, and permit fees will be billed to the customer. Augerpros Plumbing and Drain is licensed and insured in the State of Texas.

10.Property Access

The customer agrees to provide reasonable access to the work area and to remove or secure valuables, fragile items, and pets prior to the technician’s arrival. Augerpros Plumbing and Drain is not responsible for damage to items left in the immediate work area.

11.Cancellation and Trip Charges

Trip charges may apply for missed appointments, service refused after dispatch, or service calls cancelled after the technician has been dispatched to the property.

12.Indemnification

The customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Augerpros Plumbing and Drain, its owners, employees, and subcontractors from any claims arising out of pre-existing property conditions, the customer’s failure to disclose known defects, or the acts of third parties not under Augerpros Plumbing and Drain’s control.

13.Severability

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

14.Governing Law and Venue

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute arising from this agreement shall be resolved in the courts of Colllin County, Texas.

15.Acknowledgment

By authorizing work to be performed by Augerpros Plumbing and Drain, the customer acknowledges that they have had the opportunity to review and have agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
