Had a great time this week with our team at Lake Lewisville for our annual Auger Pros Plumbing company picnic. There were fun, food, and festivities. D & S Catering came out and made gourmet hot dogs and hamburgers, we enjoyed volleyball, sack races, horseshoes, and tug o war. I was even on the winning team, Has anyone seen “Squid Games”?, lol- we used their tugowar strategy hahaha!! It was a fantastic, albeit hot day spent with our superb group. A true blessing. My favorite part of the day, however, was- we had a lot of extra food, so our CEO, Jerry suggested driving to Plano and handing our extra cold drinks and food out to the homeless. It was such an incredibly scorching day and we felt so blessed to have an abundance of food to give them. It made me grateful as I put my head down to sleep for the night, grateful for the company I work for and with, grateful for our wonderful staff and owner, and grateful that I had a place to rest and the chance to help others less fortunate.
